Today, over 70 years after 1947 Gigolè is a family business that spans three generations and thousands of stories. Stories where the protagonists are the customers and their search for things out of the ordinary. Luigi, born in 1915, began his activity as a merchant with only a bike with two suitcases attached - one in front and one behind - full of haberdashery, trinkets and various goods along the streets of the Marche countryside, from house to house. After the stop due to the war events and with the arrival of the liberating Americans, he was fascinated by the style of clothing worn, by those strange blue trousers as hard as cod, by leather bomber jackets and so in 1947 he began to trade clothing and accessories American, used and new, leading them to sell in the most important markets in the area aboard the trusty Moto Guzzi with side sidecar. The activity intensifies, distances widen and in the mid-1950s Luigi brought his goods to increasingly important markets and fairs thanks to his robust Fiat Balilla, becoming a beautiful itinerant business. In 1966 the first warehouse and point of sale was opened in Via Fratelli Bandiere 5, in Chiaravalle, 50 square meters of boxes and cartons where customers can find assortment and courtesy at any time. The business grew hand in hand with the economic boom, reaching an area of 350 square meters in the mid-1980s, supported by an ever-growing turnover without neglecting the itinerant activity for markets and fairs which is still operational today. The items increase as the needs and quantity of customers increase, so in 2006 the store moved to via D'Antona, also in Chiaravalle, in the new structure built ad hoc for size and architecture that reflects the image of an evolved company and who loves to question the contemporary.
