The Baby Shop opened in Wilton Shopping Centre Cork in February 2013. The owner of the store, Jean had twins in 2011, and then decided there was a gap in the market for a contemporary but practical baby gift shop. Based across the road from The Cork University Maternity Hospital, the team at baby shop discovered the importance of the personalising of products for the new babies being delivered there every day hence the introduction of “The Embroidery Hut”. Due to the high demand for personalized products, the Baby Shop launched its own brand in 2015 Jen&Rach. This ever-expanding brand included bathrobes, bib, blankets, teddies height charts and comforters all available exclusively to The Baby Shop. Billy’s Bibs was then introduced in 2017!
