Why are spare parts and accessories so expensive? This question was asked by the founder of Biltema, Sten Åke Lindholm, himself more than 50 years ago. Many trademark owners did not own any factories, but bought their goods from suppliers on the world market. Sten Åke Lindholm's conclusion was that if he removed the middleman and bought directly from the producers, then he could cut market prices significantly.
