Wheat Illum

Wheat was founded in 2002 by Charlotte and Peter Galsgaard. Charlotte Galsgaard is herself a chief designer and with her classic lines, bright color combinations and original patterns, she continues the Scandinavian design tradition. For Charlotte, the kids are always in focus. As a mother of three children, she is aware of the special considerations to be taken into children’s clothing. Each design is adapted to children's premises. Adjustable elastic, suitable width and natural materials help to ensure each child's freedom of movement. By going with Wheat, our children take part in the Scandinavian lifestyle, which emphasizes quality and comfort. The strong identity of the design, together with Charlotte's close contact to production and sales, has led to a well-organized successful brand that is steadily growing season after season.
