VIVLIOPOLIS Dimitra Dimopoulou

VIVLIOPOLIS bookstore has been active in the field of books, stationery and consumables in the city of Kalamata since 2005, under the direction of Dimitra Dimopoulou, philologist. From the first moment of operation of the space we tried to bring to the public of Kalamata Greek writers and authors of children's books, in order to show that the book and the space of the bookstore is not just a place of sale and trade, but is a place of gathering people, thoughts , ideas and feelings. Indicatively, VIVLIOPOLIS has hosted Vangelis Iliopoulos, Alki Zei, Faie Hani, Vasiliki Nika, Dimitris Migga, Giannis Kalpouzos, Nikos Mouratidis, Sofia Niniou, Giannis Servetas, Konstantina Tassovenis, Vassilis Vassilis, Vassilis Vassilis -Zairi, Chrysiida Dimoulidou, Voula Mastori, Petros Tatsopoulos, Giannis Loukakos, Nikos Sideris, Athena Kakouri, Fili Doga, Athena Panou, Konstantinos Kyriakopoulos, Andrea Lagos, Tassos Antoniou, Maki Tsita, Christos Ionos, Christos Mao - Daskalaki, George Papadopoulos - Kypraio, Panagiotis Vouros, Cleopatra Diga, Alexandra Kladi, Panagiotis Giannouleas, Georgia Papalimberi, Giannis Ragos, Vasso Dendropoulou, Maro Douka, Costa Arkounea, Rachala Achala, Michala Leha Petroulaki, Aristotle Frango, Eleni Svoronou, Filippo Papadimitriou, Jeronimo Stilton, Grigoris Vassiliadis, Mary Miliara, Valanti Papathanassiou, Dimitris Bou Randa, George Politis, Christos Dimopoulos and others. Based on this vision, we created a group "the educational team" of VIVLIOPOLIS, which has as its object the experiential reading of children's fairy tales, in order to spark the imagination of children, to enrich their vocabulary thus externalizing thoughts and feelings, known as "The company of Friday Tales" in which children express themselves, create, relax.
