The Bikefellas project was born as an evolution and development of the Ciclostazione 42 project, started five years ago by the Pedalopolis Association, and is an initiative of the Lottovolante Social Cooperative. The experience accumulated over the years, and the daily relationship with urban cyclists and cycle travelers, has led us to open a shop / workshop entirely dedicated to them; a space that offers quality services and products to those who experience the bicycle not only as a playful and leisure tool but above all as a means of daily transport. Lottovolante is a type B social cooperative that deals with the job placement of people with various types of disadvantages, both at Bikefellas and at Ciclostazione 42, hosting training and observation internships, job grants and job placements. in collaboration with training institutions and social services. For the Bikefellas project, the Lottovolante Cooperative obtained a contribution from the Cariplo Foundation through the tender “Development of the social enterprise to employ people in disadvantaged conditions”.
