75 years of history. The shop was founded in 1945, immediately after the end of the Second World War. Our father, Bortesi Nerino, I imagine with very few resources and many hopes for a better future, began the business of selling leather, repairing and selling footwear. Assisted by our mother Elide Badiali, a constant, assiduous and very important presence, they carried out the management of the shop with sacrifice, commitment and dedication. Over time, things have improved with the entry of his brother Mauro and his experience as a footwear sales agent. The two brothers Fausto and Mauro work in the shop today, his wife Angela and their son Gianluca (third generation), motivated in the search for products and evolving ideas. The earthquake of 20 and 29 May 2012 made the premises unusable but, having overcome the initial pain and dismay, we got up and courageously continued our more determined activity than before, inaugurating a new store on 7 July 2012 in Novellara which today supports and strengthens the reopened headquarters and inaugurated on 6 July 2013 in Reggiolo. In this way we believe we respect the almost pioneering spirit of Nerino and Elide, founders of the business. FAUSTO MAURO ANGELA GIANLUCA
