It's not normal (read ordinary) when a doctor quits her job to start a wine shop (then called La Dottoressa). It's also unusual when you don't go with the mainstream in a (very good) wine country and don't sell Austrian or Italian wine, but lose your heart to the "exotics" port wine, sherry, Madeira and wine from Portugal. The big brother Spain clearly plays second fiddle with us - but very well!
