Welcome to our traditional bookshop in the heart of Bern's old town. Founded in 1936 and located in the immediate vicinity of the Zytglogge Tower, it attracts book lovers with its somewhat old-fashioned charm. We share a passion for sophisticated fiction and poetry with our customers. We are also interested in all areas of art, current issues and literature from and about the city and canton of Bern. Young and old customers will find carefully selected new releases as well as classics that have been popular for generations. Hiking and gardening books, publications on flora and fauna as well as special postcards and small gifts can also be found here.
