The fact that C&A has been in business for 170 years is remarkable in itself. The origins and links with the textile trade date back to the 17th century. These were successful and turbulent times when C&A made a significant contribution to the way people can choose and buy their clothes today. As a sixth generation family-owned company, it is innovation that drives C & amp; A - just as the brothers Clemens and August Brenninkmeyer (the C and A behind the company name) did when they set out to change the fashion world in 1841. Then, as now, C & amp; A was still a family-owned company that focused on the wants and needs of the customers. The spirit of innovation that drove the founders in the 19th century remains our concern: to continue to reinvent fashion. In terms of sustainability, for us today, this means not only doing fewer bad things, but above all, doing more good things.
