It is a family business, specializing in the production and distribution of the eponymous coffee Charalambous in the local market and abroad, with a long and important history in the production of authentic Cypriot coffee. George Charalambous Ltd aims to offer its customers complete coffee solutions. In addition to the classic Cypriot coffee, the company released other Cypriot blends such as El Primero which contains, among others, coffee varieties of Colombian and Ethiopian origin that are not traditionally used in Cypriot coffees, as well as Charalambous Decaffeine coffee, the first traditional Cypriot coffee. decaffeinated coffee. It is a traditional blend of Brazilian coffee from which caffeine is removed after special treatment with water, without chemicals. The company also sells Celest instant coffee, espresso and Lavazza filter coffee, as well as Ahmad Tea of London tea. George Charalambous Ltd also manufactures and distributes Livadioti nuts and the well-known and beloved Charalambous shrimp. Taking over the management from the third generation in 1997 helped significantly in the modernization of the company. Significant investments were made in machinery, automation and software, but also changes in the organization and operation of the company that actually helped in the development, while maintaining its traditional values.
