30 years of success in the pet industry: In 1987 Herwig Eggerstedt and his wife Marion opened their first DAS FUTTERHAUS store in Pinneberg in Schleswig-Holstein. With a sales area of 400 m², this was the first specialist pet store in Northern Germany and at the same time the first specialist store for animals with a supermarket character. The idea of DAS FUTTERHAUS has been continuously developed over the past 30 years. We have always remained true to the basic idea of offering pet owners the best advice and a wide variety of products.
