It was 1969 when Durán Arte y Subastas was born, a pioneering project in Spain that was erected as a means to preserve art. At that time, the determined spirit of the Durán brothers overcame a delicate economic situation as a country and ignorance and disinterest, in general terms, in collecting. More than fifty years have passed and the auctions, promoted by Durán Arte y Subastas, have contributed to facilitating exchange and creating fans with the guarantee and transparency offered by a public sale that benefits both buyers and sellers.
