The cycle of events that will be held within the EMERGENCY Christmas Space in Pisa begins! Sunday 2 December at 18:00 Screening of the documentary “Open Heart”. It tells the story of eight Rwandan children who leave their families to go to Sudan and undergo delicate heart surgery at EMERGENCY's Salam Heart Surgery Center in Khartoum. Their heart valves were seriously compromised by rheumatic disease. Being operated on is their only chance of salvation.
