Emporio diVino was founded in 2007 on the initiative of Alberto Zambelli and Lorenzo Greatti, two Veronese publishers of wine tourism publications as well as sommeliers who graduated from the three-year course of FISAR in 2004. The wine shop was immediately characterized by the exclusive offer of wines from the Veronese province produced by small and selected wineries, giving space only later to national and international labels. Alberto and Lorenzo have always oriented their choices on the identification of medium-small wineries, with a few hectares of property and managed at family level by competent and qualified people, whose primary purpose is the cultivation of the vineyard in respect of nature, avoiding intensive production and the misuse of chemicals. Emporio diVino has progressively evolved over the years and from a simple point of sale for Veronese wines, in 2010 it also became the headquarters of a local distribution agency. In 2015, to satisfy market demands, Alberto and Lorenzo created an "online store" dedicated to the best labels of the Scaligero area, thus implementing their offer. In 2016 the distribution activity to the ho.re.ca. is expanded by giving space also to national and international wines and spirits, always with a view to the search for niche territorial excellence. In 2018, to complete a ten-year path, Enoteca Emporio diVino inserts the entire list of labels marketed at the distribution level on the shelves of its shop in Via Pallone 8 / b, adding delicious gastronomic excellences such as extra virgin olive oil, pasta from Gragnano, balsamic vinegar from Modena, almond from Cologna Veneta, traditional Campania nougat and spanbocconi, chocolate and Veronese handcrafted sweets for special occasions.
