Gorenje Group of Companies is a joint stock company Gorenje Home Appliances - Gorenje dd with more than 60 years of history and more than four dozen internal departments. Continuous improvement of products, expansion of functionality, effective sales, establishment of a branch network and general market presence - the result of the dynamic development of all company areas in recent years. The main activity of Gorenje dd belongs to the home comfort sector, mainly the development and production of household appliances: large and small appliances, air conditioning units. In addition, the divisions of the Gorenje Group are active in the field of furniture production and design. The construction of new systems and the modernization of old systems as well as the development of new generations of devices ensure the rapid growth of the company's core business. Despite the generally unsatisfactory market development in connection with the general economic crisis, the Gorenje Group has managed to maintain its position among the five largest domestic appliance manufacturers in Europe and today exports 95% of its products. Of course, Gorenje also owes its success to numerous local branches and active trading activities in many other countries on the European continent. The international sales network, which covers every continent in the world, has been growing for almost half a century. Gorenje's foreign subsidiaries are mostly trading companies with their own networks of sales representatives, warehouses, logistics and customer service systems. Gorenje sells the lion's share of its products in the European Union, but thanks to the continuous improvement of its export distribution programs, sales in Eastern and Southeastern Europe have recently increased significantly, opening up new markets and opportunities for the company.
