Guitar-Place

Harald Ott founded Guitar Place in 1987 at the age of 24. After the trained architectural draftsman had worked in his job for a few years and had played as a guitarist in various bands since he was 15, he fulfilled his dream of his own music shop. He borrowed the starting capital from his parents and then opened a small corner shop at Hanauer Straße 20 in December 1987. This was soon bursting at the seams and in 1997 the move to Hanauer Straße 35 took place. Here you had the urgently needed space for exhibitions, warehouse and workshop. Over the years, Guitar Place has gone through various store concepts and today it stands for high-quality guitars from well-known manufacturers, a knowledgeable, competent team and a first-class guitar workshop.
