At the beginning I carried you in my body And nowhere were you closer to me than there, And our bond got stronger and stronger. And then you were there - and suddenly you were gone. And then I carried you on my hands, first holding you carefully, then with more courage. I learned to send you my thoughts, And read your wishes, and so it was good. Then later I carried you on my back and always had you with me, and our thoughts built bridges and we were inseparable, the two of us.
