Ischler Holzhandwerk

Perhaps these were some of the reasons for Josef Schenner to learn the carpentry trade in the late 19th century and buy a building at Kurhausstrasse 3. To this day, this house is the headquarters of Ischler Holzhandwerk. Son Josef Schen-ner II expanded the business further and built the Art Nouveau pavilion, for which the business is known to this day. In 1960 the business was transferred to Josef Schenner III, who specialized in household and kitchen appliances as well as woodturning work. At that time the company had around 20 employees. From 1980, Dipl. Ing. Josef Schenner IV carried on the professional legacy of his ancestors until his death in 2011.
