The KAFFEEMANUFAKTUR ARNSBERG was founded in 2016 as a private, independent coffee roastery and is located in the heart of the old town of Arnsberg, next to the old town hall and opposite the Sauerland Museum. Our drum roaster is located in the shop, in which the coffee is gently roasted by hand. We attach great importance to quality and an open and sustainable production. In addition to the freshly roasted, hand-picked coffees, a selection of organically certified teas and chocolate as well as accessories for coffee and tea preparation by Hario and Bialetti await you. kaffeemanufaktur_180627_174.jpg We love coffee! We roast our coffees - traded directly and preferably from organically certified cultivation - single-origin at low temperatures in order to obtain the optimal roast: the green coffee is gently refined in small quantities at below 200 degrees for up to 21 minutes. In this way, each variety can develop its unique aroma. ... for comparison: industrially processed coffee is roasted for 2-5 minutes at 600 to 800 degrees. Due to the slow, gentle roasting at low temperatures below 200 degrees, the fruit acid of the green coffee is broken down in 15 to 20 minutes and there are no bitter substances. When selecting our directly traded coffees and teas, we ensure compliance with organic standards. For this we have ourselves checked every year by our control body, the control association from Karlsruhe (DE-ÖKO-022).
