Kalasataman apteekki

Our pharmacy has more than a hundred years of roots, although it opened its doors in Kalasatama on September 20, 2018 under a new name. We moved to Salanäinen, where the pharmacy was founded in 1902 under the name Sörnäinen New Pharmacy. At that time, pharmacist Karl Allan Aschan opened the 10th pharmacy in Helsinki in the newly completed Pharmacy House. The Art Nouveau building was located at Hämeentie 33 but has since been demolished. Most recently, before moving to Kalasatama, the pharmacy operated in Kurvi under the name Sörnäinen apteekki.
