Did you know that Sebastian Kneipp himself was involved in founding the company? In 1891 he placed the legacy of his lifelong studies in the hands of Leonhard Oberhäußer. Kneipp transferred to him exclusively, that is worldwide and for all time, the rights to develop, manufacture and sell pharmaceutical and cosmetic products as well as dietetic foods “with the name and image of Pastor Sebastian Kneipp”. A lot has happened since then. The small startup in a Würzburg pharmacy has become an international company with around 700 employees worldwide. There are around 500 in Germany alone. We sell our products in 18 countries around the world through partner-based sales companies and our own subsidiaries. The successful expansion of existing markets is just as much a focus as the exploration of new markets, for example in Eastern Europe. The bath and body care range from Kneipp is particularly popular internationally. We are very proud to carry the legacy of Kneipp into the world: Kneipp products for the benefit of people, with high-quality ingredients and made in Germany.
