ABOUT KUIPERSKAAS Our building has been home to a cheese shop for more than 90 years. We are Cindy and Wim Vrijburg. Our KuipersKaas adventure started in 2013. Via via we ended up in the Jan Pieter Heijestraat. My maiden name is Kuipers. This is also where the name of our cheese shop “KuipersKaas” comes from. Cindy does the purchasing. And Wim is involved in various chores in the store. At the same time, he works in a data center. Until June 2019, we only sold Dutch and foreign cheese. With the accompanying delicacies such as wine and nuts. In May 2019 we entered into a partnership with wholesaler Versunie. Versunie carries the Meesterhand logo. This stands for fair and traditional products. This gives us a nice range. Over the years, the store has undergone a metamorphosis. That is why we now also sell freshly cut meat products in addition to cheese. In addition, we grill fresh chicken and grill sausage in various flavors every day. We are truly a family business. For example, our daughter Gwen and my sister Ilonka also work in the company.
