L'Erbolario was born in Lodi in 1978, as a small artisan herbalist shop, but even earlier in the imagination of its founders: Franco Bergamaschi and his wife Daniela Villa, who since adolescence had shared a passion for the world of medicinal plants, spending their days in the fields of the Lodi countryside in search of spontaneous herbs. The first phytocosmetics come to life, first by following the family recipes handed down by Franco's father, then making use of the knowledge acquired during the herbal medicine, phytocosmetics and phytopreparation courses. Slowly L'Erbolario products cross the doors of the Lodi shop to spread on the shelves of herbalists throughout Italy.
