Librairie Ernster

Pierre Ernster founded Librairie Ernster in 1889, at the time the main activity was the sale of textbooks and notebooks. In the early 1920s his son, Ferdinand, ran the family business. His grandson, Pit, took up the torch in 1953, and the company boomed and expanded its activities. His great-grandson, Fernand, current general manager, joined the company in 1984 and contributes to the expansion and diversification of its activities. Today the Ernster Bookstore has 4 Bookstores, 1 stationery and 2 children's stores, Erny Ernster!
