Far West in English simply means "far west". In our imagination, however, it is not simply a place, it evokes a world made up of boundless and wild territories, cowboys, bandits and shootings, dusty streets, fistfights in saloons, Native Americans, endless rides into the sunset. It brings with it the flavor of discovery, of freedom, the adventure we always need. So much so that this suggestive word, adventure, seems to have been erased from our vocabulary. Indeed from our brain. The well-known writer Wilbur Smith tells in an interview that “living adventures is the best way to get to know the world and oneself: in fact, children are spontaneously more adventurous than adults”. So let's try to keep the desire for adventure alive by training our imagination. Books are perfect companions for this type of training!
