Librerie.coop is the chain of bookstores designed and built by Coop Alleanza 3.0. Established in 2006, librerie.coop is a project created to promote culture through books and reading, creating meeting places and contributing to the growth of the ethical and cultural aspect of the social community. The over 80 bookstores and shops are a place with a strong identity that adapts according to the presence in shopping centers or city centers, and according to the sales area. The typical bookshop has on average an assortment of 30 thousand titles (35/50 thousand volumes) in shopping centers, of 45 thousand titles in historical centers. The assortment is vast and attentive to small independent publishing, without giving up the best sellers, rich in editorial proposals linked to the territory with titles of history, traditions and local gastronomy. The entire library is inspired by the theme of accessibility, physical and cultural, to ensure ease of orientation, reading information, access even for disabled people. In the librerie.coop there are the discounts promoted together with the publishers and special promotions are reserved for Coop members or holders of the librerie.coop card with the collection of points. Librerie.coop has been collaborating with Eataly since 2012 designing the library space within their structures and is present in Rome, Bari, Milan, Piacenza, Turin and Trieste. Also together with Eataly the Ambasciatori was opened in Bologna in 2008. An innovative space that combines culture and typical flavors of quality at affordable prices and where there are, without interruption, a library with 85 thousand volumes, a café, a wine bar-brewery and areas for meetings, lessons and events. In June 2020 the library at the Arco di Reggio Emilia, one of the most beautiful and historic bookstores in Italy, became part of librerie.coop. In the historic center of the city, two floors with large halls and fine furnishings welcome readers and tourists. Librerie.coop also supplies libraries, schools and clubs in some territories. It creates bookshop spaces during festivals and cultural events, including: Internazionale (Fe), FestivaLetteratura (Mn), Passaggi Festival (Fano - PU), Festival of TV and new Media (Dogliani - CN), Suq Festival (Ge), Pordenonelegge (Pn). Here more details about our collaborations.
