Francisco López Galán, born in Villalba del Alcor (Huelva) and founder of López Guarnicionería, began his career as an apprentice in a shoe shop, years later, specifically in 1965, he opened his first custom shoe store in his hometown. It was in 1972 when Francisco López Galán opened the second establishment to the public in Villalba del Alcor, in which he introduced new articles related to saddlery and leather goods, in addition to continuing as a bespoke shoemaker. Over the years and the integration of their children into the company, Francisco López Galán and his family headed to Seville and it was in 1982 when they opened their third establishment to the public on Moratín Street. At present, his son Francisco López González continues to perfect the artisan techniques of saddlery and leather goods that his father transmitted to him since he was a child, giving each of the items his identity stamp. On Moratín street, where our shop-workshop is located, the characteristic smell of skin is still present, the colors of our articles, the noise of the tools and of course, the artisans Francisco López González and his wife Belén Pérez Pérez, pattern maker by profession and designer at López Guarnicionería. Belén's arrival at López Guarnicionería was a turning point, as she incorporated her knowledge of pattern making and design, as well as her fabulous imagination to create fashion pieces that allowed López Guarnicionería to enter and advance in other fields with innovative and creative designs. Finally, López Guarnicionería has participated in different business projects. In 2010, she was selected to participate in the World Youth Boat, an initiative organized by the Government of Japan. In 2018, La Fábrica publishing house published “España a mano” a guide that includes the best artisans at the national level and in which López Guarnicionería is present. In addition, Francisco López González has participated as a teacher in different training courses, among which are those organized by the Reinosa City Council (Santander, 1990) and by the Seville Provincial Council (1998). "To this day, we continue to work in an artisanal way, trying to offer the best benefits and achieve the greatest satisfaction from our customers"
