In 1959 Herman and Marjan Lyppens opened the doors of their jewelry store at Langebrugsteeg 8 in the heart of Amsterdam. Thanks to enthusiasm and love for the profession, Lyppens Langebrugsteeg is now, more than 50 years later, a household name in Amsterdam. In 1998 their third son and daughter-in-law took over the business. Little has changed in the shop and the customer is still "taken care of" with love and dedication. The total team consists of 36 employees, who have been with the company for an average of 20 years. So there is a lot of expertise available. The homely atmosphere of the store will remind you of the past. You will most likely find what you have been looking for for so long. There is a wide range of antique and modern gold and silver jewelery and silverware. Lyppens has a specialized repair department, where special wishes can be carried out, with or without input from one of our designers. What also makes Lyppens unique is the possibility to exchange or sell old silver and gold jewelry, coins and utensils. You have also come to the right place for valuations and bridal lists.
