Our tradition began in 1895 when grandfather Giovanni - a native of Cerrione - moved to Sandigliano. He bought a wagon and a donkey and started carrying the sacks of grain. He went to Candelo daily to grind these and only returned home the following morning at dawn. This is how our artisan tradition began! How it all began By sorting sacks of ground grain and trading them within the country, the business grew. So much so that in 1921 he bought his first stone mill. After the war the mill was inherited by his son Fiorentino. Fiorentino thus followed in his father's footsteps and a few years later invested in a new cylinder mill - which at the time was extremely innovative - this favored greater yield and a much higher quality product. A few years later Giuseppe, Fiorentino's eldest son, took over the business. And in the sixties even the second son Riccardo joined him and he too took over the reins of the family business. In 1967 another important investment followed, the machinery was replaced with a more recent one that allowed to significantly increase the transformation of cereals into flour (up to seventy quintals in just twelve hours). The opening of the store The business continued until 1989, the year in which - together with experience and passion - the common idea of opening a commercial activity in the agricultural and food sector matured. In order not to lose the family tradition, the name Molino was preserved, to remember the sacrifices of a life and the satisfactions of what was awarded as one of the most beautiful mills in Piedmont. The new generation At the beginning of the nineties a new generation took over the family business: Sabrina - Giuseppe's daughter - and Corrado - Riccardo's son - just graduated. The offer was further enhanced and enriched, in particular as regards technical machinery (and their repair), pesticides and fertilizers for the care of plants and green spaces. Who we are today Thirty years have passed since the opening of our commercial activity, we have gone through difficulties, but above all we have gained great satisfaction. These have always encouraged us day after day to bring news and offer the best certified products. All this through the help of our trusted Partners and commercial brands, satisfying requests and satisfying those who decide to rely on our experience.
