The Ciarlo family dedicates its life to the transformation of strictly organic vegetables into high quality products. It all began in 1952 when our father Donato chose to grow tomatoes in the small family farm located in Cecina in the province of Livorno, a stone's throw from the sea. When agriculture was abandoned by many farmers due to the low income it offered, he decided to add a small liquor factory to this activity. This allowed him to have a commercial experience that came in handy when, in 1974, he decided to create a laboratory for the preparation of tomato preserves using strictly homemade methods. This business has always been managed on a family basis and so, soon, in addition to our father and mother, we too, Simonetta, Antonella, Emiliana, began to make our contribution, literally growing in our home business! In 1997, when unfortunately our father, for health reasons, had to give up his job, the three sisters continued his work and, to distance ourselves and differentiate ourselves from industrial competition, we favored the use of raw materials exclusively from organic farming. .
