At the end of the Second World War, his son Max Ochsner took over the management and started the OCHSNER SPORT division in 1961. In the seventies and eighties, Ochsner enlarged the shoe store by taking over various chain stores and opening several branches in western Switzerland. Since the opening of the first OCHSNER SPORT branch in 1961, founder Max Ochsner had the same vision as all aspiring athletes: to win after victory and one day be at the top! In the first three decades, the company gained respect in the market with six new sales outlets, but OCHSNER SPORT wanted more. Expansion continued in the seventies and eighties. The leap into the international league was made in 1992: Ochsner Holding was transferred to the DEICHMANN Group and merged with the Dosenbach Group. DOSENBACH-OCHSNER AG Shoes and Sport was born. From brand shoes to leisure fashion to sporting goods, DOSENBACH-OCHSNER AG has always impressed its fans with a strong product range and strong prices. Today both companies are market leaders in Switzerland and at the top in all regions. In 2001 the new distribution center in Luterbach, Solothurn, started the race with 18,000 m2, and in 2009 it was enlarged to 35,000 m2. On peak days, 110 employees process up to 180,000 parts here. In the noughties, the lead over the competition grew, and more and more branches opened their doors. Today OCHSNER SPORT AG is the largest sporting goods retailer in Switzerland - with a team of over 80 dynamic specialist shops. The secret of success?
