About Us Ortopediatecnica, based in Cefalù, was founded in 1991 by specialized orthopedic technicians with the aim of alleviating the pathologies inherent in the person through orthotic treatment. The Ortopediatecnica company carries out the retail sale of technical aids and orthopedic products made to measure. The center also deals with inpatient and mobility aids, stabilizing scooters, postural strollers, electromedics, hospital beds, rehabilitation machinery, wheelchairs, bath products and walkers. The center produces corsets and busts for the trunk, adapting them to measure to improve and correct various postural and back pathologies. Ortopediatecnica manufactures custom-made orthopedic shoes, corrective insoles, elastic stockings, prostheses and braces for the limbs, wrist bands, hernial belts and collars. The experience in the sector for over 20 years guarantees the customer the maximum from orthotic treatment. The role of the orthopedic technician today is the result of an ancient and prestigious artisan tradition. The imagination and the ability of the Italians to work by hand, in collaboration with the indications of prescribers, has allowed to "invent", "adapt", "build" prostheses (which replace a missing part of the body) or orthoses (aids that facilitate certain functions of the human body).
