In the 1960s, the couple's daughters, Madeleine and Henriette, enter the family business. They expand and adapt the concept: in addition to carrying different brands, avant-garde brands are included in the range. The sisters see potential in then unknown brands from Paris, London and Milan. They are one of the first to introduce Comme des Garçons, Kenzo and Dries van Noten in the Netherlands. In 1980 Pauw expands with the opening of Pauw Mannen (later Pauw Mannen Luxury Tailoring) on the van Baerlestraat in Amsterdam. Where the focus used to be mainly on women's fashion, Pauw is now broadening her horizons and venturing into the world of menswear. Initially brands such as Paul Smith and Ralph Lauren will be used. A later leading discipline was soon added: the Southern Italian style. heritage In addition to her activities on the feminine side of the spectrum, Pauw also focuses on expanding her masculine appeal. In April 2013, a second store, exclusively aimed at men, will be opened: Pauw Mannen Luxury Denim. The Pauw Mannen Private Label will also be introduced. In 2020, Pauw has 28 stores in the Netherlands, three of which are aimed at men.
