Pets' Delight

After years of no pet shop in the Spaarndammerbuurt, I took the plunge and started doing it myself. Not without some knowledge of the matter. I used to work on Curaçao as a sea lion trainer and caretaker of sharks, sea turtles, flamingos and all kinds of animals from in and around the sea and I grew up with many pets. I trained as a cynological behavioral therapist and had a dog walking service for years. It started with me a few years ago by a conversation with the vet (westerpark) to take good nutrition for the pets even more seriously. There are so many unnecessary additives and fillings in a lot of animal food and that has consequences for the health of the animal in the long run. Of course we all want to go to the Mac Donalds at some point, but not every day right? So should wealso deal with what we give our animals. Chunks without unnecessary additives, good quality raw food and even good canned food are available. Snacks that are not full of sugar, food coloring and salt and also for the rodents and birds, their environment and food must be varied and pure. I also believe that the things on which or in which the animal lives and sleeps are all in our nicely decorated houses and are given a prominent place there. Then it may look a bit handsome. What I enjoy most is the conversations with my neighbors about these kinds of things and that as soon as they are aware of the possibilities they like to do and have the best for their animal.
