Plantagen

Plantagen was founded in Norway in 1986 and over the years has developed into a very growth-friendly and successful company, covering a network of more than one hundred stores in the Nordic countries. For the first 10 years, Plantagen's management focused on developing and refining its business model in the Norwegian market. By the mid-1990s, the business idea had been honed and felt to work. The product groups were better designed to fit the store model and the store level improved as a result. The concept of ‘Superstore’ has been the basis of our store concept ever since.
