Prima Furniture is a dynamic family business founded in 1946 by Alfons Permentier. Over the years, the store in the Hekelgemstraat in Erembodegem was gradually expanded. In the mid-1950s, the son, Camiel Permentier, took over the company. In 1976 a second store was opened in Middelkerke on the Zeedijk in Middelkerke. With successive expansions in 1986 and 1990. A few years later, Geert and Vera Permentier took over until today. The achievements of this third generation are an indispensable step in the family business. In 2006, the company's first takeout store opened. In the not-so-distant future, this generation will open a new store on Brusselsesteenweg. To this day, the Permentier family is part of a large framework in the history of furniture.
