The Clutch is the first mechanism of the Drive system and is located immediately after the engine, ie it mediates between the flywheel and the gearbox. Its purpose is to connect and disconnect the crankshaft (via flywheel) and the primary gearbox shaft. The car clutch is used to transmit the engine torque to the drive system and to temporarily disconnect the engine and start smoothly.
