WE'VE RUN RUN TOGETHER! Back in 1983, Road Runner Sports founder Mike G. was determined to be the best father he could be for his three young sons and a baby daughter who was on the way. Fueled by a love of health and fitness, the Chief Runner brought Road Runner Sports to life in a San Diego garage. From day one, it was a family business all about making customers feel like family. Even today, as we've become the world's largest running and walking store, family is what we're all about. Three of Mike's sons, Mike, Mark, and Stephen, now work in the business, and we're so happy you're part of it too!
