SABAG is organized on a federal basis: seven independent companies are united under one group umbrella - so we are present throughout Switzerland, but still anchored regionally. From small business to Switzerland-wide family business Our beginnings go back to 1913, when Otto Jordi founded a trading company for building materials in Biel. He expanded into the plumbing trade and opened the first permanent exhibition in Biel as early as 1939. Since then, our family business has grown organically with the opening of new locations. Today we employ over 1000 people and have a network of locations that covers almost all of German and French-speaking Switzerland. SABAG is now run by the third generation of the Jordi family - several representatives of the fourth generation are already working in various positions at SABAG. SABAG will remain an independent Swiss family company in the future.
