Since gastronomy has changed a lot in recent years, less inventory is required today than it used to be. That's why Richard Scherer decided to put part of his inventory up for auction. The sale of the used kitchens by specialists and the corresponding professionalism in handling and advertising was very important to him. With the sale of the goods he no longer needed by Troostwijk, he hoped that the auction would have a corresponding weight. Richard Scherer became aware of Troostwijk through the auction of a market companion in the region. Other decisive factors for Richard Scherer were the Troostwijk service: “The price-performance ratio was right for me. At the beginning, I found the joint definition of the starting prices and the professional preparation of the auction to be particularly valuable. My contact person was Reto Ingold, who was always available and answered all my questions. ”“ The project ran smoothly, even though an online auction was new territory for us, ”says Richard Scherer. After the first contact with Reto Ingold, the Troostwijk team visited Scherer Grossküchen GmbH and put together the whole catalog for the auction with the whole lot for a week. The objects to be sold were photographed and given a technical description. On average, an auction revenue of a factor of 1.5 from the initial offer can be expected. According to Richard Scherer, the cooperation at Scherer Grossküchen AG was perfect, but they would have liked a little more bids that would have made the starting price for the kitchen inventory skyrocket. Another auction via Troostwijk is planned for autumn 2018.
