Sija Schmuck

The roots of our family business are in the Sudetenland in what is now the Czech Republic. The glass painter Ilse and her husband Ernst Fischer were expelled from there. After months of uncertainty, both finally found a new home in Enns in Upper Austria. In 1951 they founded the company that is now called sija. The family business is now run in the third generation by Birgit Freudenthaler and her brother Jochen Kaiserseder. Today, as then, the focus is on the passion for designing and manufacturing unique and high-quality pieces of jewelry.
