In 1983 HH Sportstrading AG was founded. The purpose of the AG was the import and distribution of the sports shoe brand Pony. The Davos company later developed into a company that on the one hand sold various brands in Switzerland, but on the other hand also had its own creations produced. The flagship was the shoe and clothing brand Swissalp Fantasy, which initially impressed with folkloric designs and was sold around the world. For the 700th anniversary of the Swiss Confederation, HH Sportstrading designed a moonboot with folklore embroidery in 1991. Due to the great success, the decision was made to put together an entire collection for the next season. At the end of 1992 the company founders came across the name Swissalp Fantasy while listening to a radio broadcast and had it entered in the trademark register. Right from the start, Swissalp Fantasy had a steep upward trend. Sales more than doubled from collection to collection. Swissalp Fantasy has been an independent company since 2001. The collection includes winter and summer shoes, clothing and accessories (small rucksacks, bags, etc.), which are either decorated with folk motifs such as edelweiss, Schlitteda or alpine roses, or with original sayings.
