Vanilia

At Vanilia, the way in which our collections are created is at least as important as the collections themselves. The development of this takes place from A - Z at our head office and the collections are produced in our own workshop in Turkey. This has a number of advantages, but above all we can always guarantee quality and we are assured that the working conditions are good. Our monthly collections have limited editions, are made from carefully selected fabrics, and are designed and developed to last longer than one season. Producing in our own factory is very exceptional in the fashion world, it is something we are proud of. Our workshop has been in Cappadocia, Turkey for over 20 years (this place is on the UNESCO World Heritage List). It is not without reason that we call our factory a studio, because that does more justice to the professionals who work there with a lot of love and great care on the Vanilia collections. These people work under good conditions, which has always been a matter of course for Vanilia, but which is unfortunately far from the norm in the textile industry. At the end of 2014, the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) carried out a very extensive audit in our workshop, with excellent results. For example, there is no forced labor, there is no child labor, and we do not use 'forced overtime'.
