We started with the IL CONTADINO in 2005 in Lauterach. The idea at that time was to bring Italian wines and other specialties to Vorarlberg and to bring them to the man / woman as a kind of "collection warehouse". In addition, parties should be able to be celebrated in a casual atmosphere. Together with our customers and the move to Hard on Lake Constance, we developed a vinotheque with a regulars' table, of which we are very proud. As already mentioned, it is very important to us to know the producers of our products and the winemakers of the wines personally. This is how the name "IL CONTADINO" was chosen - it means "the farmer". Products that are on the shelves of food retail chains are out of the question for us. It can happen that not all wines are always available - that is deliberate and a good thing! The IL CONTADINO was founded in 2005 by my mum, Inge. In 2016 I took over the vinotheque because my mum left for her well-deserved (un) retirement. I look forward to seeing you soon at the IL CONTADINO in Hard!
