What started in 1968 as a small animal park where monkeys and lions could be seen with attached cafeteria where many villagers and French customers stayed, has grown into a large bird specialty store. The store was founded at the time by Gentil Beernaert, further by daughter Ingrid and husband Marnix and further run by grandchildren Kenneth and Laëtitia.
