Weingut Giefing

The Giefing family's winery is located in the historic center of the free town of Rust. The foundation stone for the Giefing winery was laid in a 500-year-old wine-growing house on Hauptstrasse 13. The Freihof dates back to the 15th century and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the gently rising slopes of the Rust Hügelland, on the western shore of Lake Neusiedl, there are spread over 40 plots of all of the family vineyards, which cover a total of around 14 hectares.
