The Wenger family has been tailoring traditional costumes since 1920, albeit initially as a one-man business in the municipality of Faistenau. Serial production began in 1954 and since 1961 the Wenger company has been producing dirndls, blouses, traditional dresses, bodices, skirts and jackets in Obernberg am Inn. The history of the Wenger company has been shaped by fashion over time, ups and downs and a combination of tradition and innovation. The fourth generation of the Wenger family is now working in the family business and we are one of the leading dirndl manufacturers in the traditional costume industry. Years of experience, great employees and attention to detail make every Wenger dirndl unique.
