X-Sport

1978: As the second son of Christine and Alfons Swoboda, Georg sees the light of day on April 10th in Vienna. He experienced his childhood in Vösendorf and later attended the IGS in Brunn am Gebirge. His favorite sports at this time are windsurfing, table tennis and soccer. 1990: Georg's enthusiasm for fire services begins when he joins the youth fire department at Vösendorf Fire Department. 1996: Georg completes his school education at the HTL Mödling in the telecommunications engineering department. 1997: After his military service in the armed forces, Georg signed up as a regular soldier in the Jagdkommando and for the first time did targeted endurance training. 1998: Georg becomes a "firefighter" with the Vienna fire brigade. First run in a marathon. 2001: First championship title: Viennese national champion in duathlon (class U-23). 2003: First participation in a long distance triathlon. Start of cooperation with professional trainer Roland Düh. 2004: Path to self-employment (www.x-sport.at) in order to be able to combine the extensive training with professional life. 7th place and best Austrian at the World Fire Brigade Championship in Roth. 2005: Austrian fire brigade state champion in the individual cycling time trial, Austrian state champion over the long distance triathlon in the Elite 1 class. 2006: Fastest amateur at Ironman Austria and winner of the M25 class. 2008: Start of the first professional season. In my first professional race, I reached 8th place (Ironman Florida). 2009: Start of the first full professional season and start of the "The transparent sportsman" project at the courier. 2012: National champion long distance 2013: National champion long distance, second fastest on 180km 4:07:39, best Austrian Ironman Klagenfurt and St.Pölten 2014: National champion long distance, new course record 08:07 2015: X-Sport takes over the brand "Top Level" and turns it into "X-Sport Power". 2015: 4x national champion over the Ironman distance 2017: Comeback for a race after a 2 year break it became the vice national champion title.
